Afghan Delegation Heads to Belarus to Develop Cooperation

Afghanistan has sent a 13-member delegation to Belarus. At Minsk’s invitation, they will take part in the second meeting of the Joint Commission on Economic and Trade Cooperation between Afghanistan and Belarus.

The delegation is headed by Afghanistan’s Minister of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock Mawlavi Ataullah Omari. It also includes the deputy minister of industry and commerce, representatives of the ministries of agriculture, irrigation and livestock, transport and civil aviation, finance, foreign affairs and trade, as well as representatives of state companies and the economic deputy office of the prime minister’s administration, Afghanistan’s Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock reports.

“During the visit, the Afghan delegation is expected to hold talks with Belarusian authorities on developing joint economic and trade cooperation, strengthening economic ties and creating conditions for cooperation between the two countries,” the Afghanistan Ministry of Agriculture, Irrigation and Livestock said.

The visit to Belarus will last five days.
