U.S. presidential envoy John Coale answered in the affirmative when asked about the possible release of political prisoners in Belarus in the near future.

Yana Kovaleva, the sister of political prisoner Illia Verameyeu, asked Coale on social network X: “Dear Mr. Coale, can we hope for the release of political prisoners in the near future?”
