Belarus has approved the state programme “Comfortable Housing and Favourable Environment” for 2026–2030. The corresponding resolution was signed by Prime Minister Alyaksandr Turchyn, the government press service reported.
The document defines the main directions of state policy in the sphere of housing and utilities. The programme aims to ensure comfortable living conditions for citizens, create a safe and favourable environment, improve the quality of housing and utility services, raise the level of amenities in populated areas, and implement standards of quality of life.
The state programme includes four subprogrammes: “Landscaping”, “Housing Repairs”, “Reduction of Illiquid Rental Housing Stock” and “Clean Water”.
Financing for the programme’s activities for the period 2026–2030 is set at 26.5 billion roubles.
