Belarus and Saudi Arabia are conducting a business forum dedicated to information and communication technologies. A delegation headed by Minister of Communications and Informatization Kirill Zalessky is visiting Riyadh. It also includes representatives of the Hi-Tech Park Supervisory Board Secretariat, the National Centre for Marketing, and 14 HTP resident companies.
According to the ministry’s press service, Zalessky held talks with Saudi Minister of Communications Abdullah Alswaha and highlighted Belarus’s strong interest in expanding cooperation in the ICT sector.
“A special role here is assigned to the residents of the Hi-Tech Park,” the ministry noted. The minister emphasised that Belarusian IT companies are interested in full-scale collaboration with Saudi partners.
The Saudi minister, in turn, praised the achievements of the Hi-Tech Park, underlined the importance of cooperation among key industry players, and invited Belarusian companies to establish a permanent presence in the Kingdom.
The delegation also visited the Saudi Digital Government Authority, where Belarusian companies presented their digital products and technological solutions.
The key event of the visit is the Belarus–Saudi ICT Business Forum, organized by the National Centre for Marketing in partnership with the Federation of Saudi Chambers. The forum includes presentations of Belarusian software capabilities and ICT project competencies.
