The Ministry of Information has updated its list of so-called extremist materials. The Telegram channel “Belaruskaya Afisha,” which publishes announcements of events in Vilnius, has been designated as “extremist.”

The list also includes:

  • the YouTube channel and social media pages of the “ByLOL” project;
  • Threads pages “belarusnovosti2,” “igorkuley,” “alex_anderlukashenko1954,” “BGmedia | Brest | News,” as well as Instagram pages “alex_anderlukashenko1954,” “auhen-_sidoryk,” and “dimaradzievsky”;
  • the TikTok page “Belarus | Without Filters”;
  • the Instagram page “FreeViasna.”

The Belarusian authorities use accusations of extremism and terrorism to combat their political opponents and dissent in general.
