A boy born in 2010 drowned in the agrotown of Balotnia in the Rahačoŭ District, reported the OSVOD press service.
On March 28, he left home for a walk and did not return. After relatives contacted emergency services, a search operation was launched. Late at night, rescuers обнаружили an ice hole in an artificial reservoir. While examining the water using a hook, at a depth of about three meters and 15–20 meters from the shore, the boy’s body was found and recovered.
An investigation has been launched into the death, and expert examinations have been назначены to determine the causes and circumstances of the tragedy.
