The Finance Ministry will hold an auction on Aug. 14 on the BVFB platform to place the 378th issue of government bonds denominated in U.S. dollars.
Each security will have a face value of $1,000. The term is 2,191 days. The bonds are to be redeemed on Aug. 13, 2032.
The issue size and interest rate will be determined based on the results of the auction.
This year, the Finance Ministry has already placed two issues of government bonds denominated in U.S. dollars. Their total volume was 100 million rubles, with an annual interest rate of 2.9%. It also placed an issue of bonds denominated in Belarusian rubles worth 70 million rubles at an annual rate of 9%. Finally, the ministry launched the first government internet bonds. An issue worth 50 million rubles at an annual rate of 9.5% is available through the systems of Belarusbank and Belagroprombank.
