Foreign Investment Totaled $5 Billion In First Half Of Year

Foreign investment in Belarus totaled $5 billion in the first half of 2026. Of this, direct investment amounted to $3.8 billion.

Foreign investors put the largest amount of funds into trade — $2.81 billion, followed by industry ($1.125 billion) and financial and insurance activities ($224.17 million).

Belarusian investment abroad totaled $3.6 billion over the same period, of which $2.45 billion was direct investment.

Belarusian investment abroad was directed mainly to industry ($2.04 billion), trade ($1.04 billion), and financial and insurance activities ($216.12 million).
