Belarus has extradited a Mongolian citizen wanted through Interpol to Mongolia.
According to the Interior Ministry’s press service, the 41-year-old Mongolian citizen was wanted for illegally organizing gambling as part of an organized group.
“Through Interpol channels, information was received that the suspect might be in Belarus. During operational search measures, criminal investigation officers detained the man in Minsk”, the ministry said.
A decision was subsequently made to extradite him. The detainee was handed over to Mongolian law enforcement officials at Minsk airport.
