Retail Turnover Rises 7.6% in First Half of the Year

Retail turnover totalled 54.2 billion Belarusian roubles in January–June, up 7.6% compared with the same period last year, according to Belstat.

Retail turnover by trade organisations increased by 8% to 52.2 billion Belarusian roubles.

Average daily retail turnover per capita since the beginning of the year amounted to 33 Belarusian roubles, 2.6 Belarusian roubles higher than in January–June 2025.

Wholesale turnover remained below last year’s level, declining by 0.4% to 89.5 billion Belarusian roubles.

Public catering turnover totalled 3.8 billion Belarusian roubles, up 1.1% compared with the previous year.
