The Ministry of Antimonopoly Regulation and Trade has suspended the operation of a Belmarket store. A similar measure had previously been taken against another outlet of the same retail chain.
“This time, the Belmarket store located at 160 Pershamaiskaya Street stood out. Inspections of the retail chain across the country have been ongoing for several days, but the number of violations is not decreasing. Inspectors removed expired meat semi-finished products, minced meat, soft drinks, sausages and bakery products from the shelves of the store”, the statement said.
MART also listed the following violations:
- failure to comply with the mandatory list of goods,
- improper оформление of price tags,
- lack of product information,
- violations of sanitary standards,
- improper display of goods containing images of the state symbols of the Republic of Belarus, and others.
