Alyaksandr Lukashenka is planning to visit Vietnam. He wrote about this in a congratulatory message to To Lam on his re-election as General Secretary of the Central Committee of the Communist Party of Vietnam.
“With respect and satisfaction, I accept your invitation to visit hospitable Vietnam. I hope for a meeting in the near future to continue dialogue on all issues on the bilateral and multilateral agendas,” Lukashenka’s press service quoted the message as saying.
Lukashenka expressed confidence that the decisions of the Communist Party of Vietnam would contribute to the “continued prosperity of the country and the strengthening of Hanoi’s international authority and role in global affairs,” and stressed that he expects active cooperation between Belarus and Vietnam.
