Three new entries have appeared on the Interior Ministry’s list of “extremist formations”: a clothing brand, an online store and a language school. The corresponding decisions were taken by the KGB on 5 May. Today, the Interior Ministry added information about them to its list.
According to the KGB, Uladzimir Maliauka and Pavel Dzierkach are linked to the “extremist formation” Znivien. The list also mentions the social media accounts and website of the clothing brand.
Another “formation” is The Krama Store, which offers books and souvenirs. It was previously located in the Belarusian Youth Hub in Warsaw before moving to an online format. Alesia Hmir is mentioned in connection with the formation.
The third “formation” is LVS. Language School, which the authorities associate with Aliaksandra Doynich. The school’s social media accounts are also listed.
It should be recalled that accusations of extremism are used by the Belarusian authorities to fight opponents of Lukashenka and suppress dissent more broadly.
