The Investigative Committee has launched special proceedings against former political prisoner Hanna Vishniak.
She is charged under articles covering incitement of hatred (Article 130 of the Criminal Code), facilitating “extremist” activities (Parts 1 and 2 of Article 361-4 of the Criminal Code), insulting Lukashenka (Part 2 of Article 368 of the Criminal Code), and insulting a public official (Article 369 of the Criminal Code).
Hanna Vishniak is a former political prisoner. In 2021, she was sentenced to two and a half years in prison in a case against the administrators of the “Drivers 97” Telegram channel and chat. After her release, she left Belarus.
