The Minsk Prosecutor’s Office identified a violation of Belarus’ countersanctions measures by a Minsk-based company.

The company paid more than 21,000 Belarusian roubles in dividends to its founder from an “unfriendly” country without obtaining permission from the Minsk City Executive Committee. However, since July 2025, transfers of dividends to participants from “unfriendly” countries have required approval from the executive committee.

The prosecutor’s office issued an order to the head of the company requiring the violation to be remedied and demanded that the funds be returned. The executive was also held administratively liable under Article 24.58 of the Code of Administrative Offences (“Failure to take measures to ensure the proper organisation of a legal entity’s activities”).
