The government of Belarus has approved lists of national projects under the State Programme for Innovative Development of the Republic of Belarus for 2026–2030, as well as measures to develop innovation infrastructure. The relevant resolution was signed by Prime Minister Aliaksandr Turchyn.
The resolution provides for the implementation of 42 major innovative projects across various sectors. These include the production of household appliances, high-powered tractors, buses, forestry machines and manipulators for logging equipment, as well as innovative pharmaceutical and veterinary medicines, the government press service reported.
In 2026–2030, 10 measures will be carried out to develop science and technology parks, including the Minsk City Technopark and the Brest Regional Technopark.
Target indicators for innovative development will be set for each state programme customer, including the share of innovative products in total output, exports of science-intensive and high-tech products, and other indicators.
The total funding for innovative projects and measures in 2026–2030 amounts to about 1.3 billion rubles, of which more than 77% (995.6 million rubles) will come from the state budget.
The programme may be supplemented with new projects and measures during the five-year period.
