A bus driver in Babruysk was caught driving under the influence, the Mogilev Regional Executive Committee’s Internal Affairs Department said.
Traffic police officers stopped a MAZ bus driven by a 41-year-old man to check his documents. Officers became suspicious of his condition.
“A medical examination confirmed the presence of ethyl alcohol in the driver’s breath, with a reading of 1.15‰,” the department said.
The man now faces a fine of 9,000 Belarusian roubles and will be disqualified from driving for five years.
