Border guards in Hrodna Region have detained a Belarusian citizen near the Lithuanian border after finding a drone in his possession.
According to the State Border Committee, the homemade unmanned aerial vehicle was of the multirotor type. The man was also carrying a tablet computer, six batteries and a battery charger.
Administrative proceedings have been launched against the detainee for violating border regime regulations. He will also face liability for breaching Belarus’ ban on private ownership of drones.
