The website of the Coordination Council of Belarusian democratic forces has been under cyberattacks for several days. According to the council, the situation mirrors the previous election campaign, when hackers attempted to block access to democratic processes through technical disruptions.

“As during the previous election campaign, our website is being relentlessly ‘DDoSed’ and hacked. This is the best proof that the regime recognizes the importance of the Coordination Council elections, fears them, and seeks to disrupt the electoral process,” said Secretary of the Council Ivan Krautsou.

He added that the attacks would not stop the council’s work. At present, the technical team has already restored the stable operation of the website. To ensure access to documents and the registration form, a backup link has been created to a Google folder containing all election materials.

The submission of applications from electoral entities will end on March 31.
