Belarusians Bought 150,000 New Year Trees This Season

Belarusians bought 150,000 New Year trees over the season, head of the Forestry Management Department of the Ministry of Forestry Alyaksandr Uhryn said at a press conference at the National Press Center.

According to him, a total of 1,128 New Year tree sales points operated across the country during the season. Over the season, 150,000 trees were sold, along with 12,000 New Year bouquets and 7,500 potted New Year trees.

Last year, the Ministry of Forestry reported the sale of 162,000 trees, as well as 12,000 New Year bouquets and 7,000 potted trees.
