The average nominal accrued salary of Belarusian public-sector employees in July amounted to 2,451 rubles before taxes. It fell by 2.6%, or 66.1 rubles, compared with June.
The average real salary in the public sector increased by 10.6% in January-July. The data was published by Belstat.
In July, the ratio of salaries in public-sector organizations to the national average was 77.3%.
The average July salary among public-sector employees was:
- in public administration — 4,110 rubles (+202.1 rubles from the previous month),
- among teachers — 2,738.5 rubles (-493.1 rubles),
- among preschool education teachers — 2,081.5 rubles (-53.9 rubles),
- among academic and teaching staff — 3,360.1 rubles (-890.5 rubles),
- among doctors — 4,634.2 rubles (+70.8 rubles),
- among mid-level medical staff — 2,497.9 rubles (+14.2 rubles).
