A U.S. Air Force Boeing C-17 Globemaster III military transport aircraft landed at Moscow’s Vnukovo Airport on August 25.
According to Flightradar24, the aircraft, bearing the registration number RCH4555, departed from Camp Springs, Maryland, where Andrews Air Force Base is located, and landed in Riga on August 23. Today, it departed Riga and arrived in Moscow at around 10 a.m. local time.
A motorcade with U.S. diplomatic license plates was spotted on the streets of Moscow.
Kremlin spokesman Dmitry Peskov declined to answer a question about the aircraft at a press conference, saying he did not have such information.
