Belarusian security forces handed over a Turkish citizen wanted through Interpol to their Turkish counterparts. The transfer took place at Minsk airport.
According to the Interior Ministry’s press service, the man was placed on the wanted list following events in June 2013. At that time, a road conflict in Ankara escalated into a shooting. After being detained following a traffic accident, he seriously wounded a person.
The man was detained in October 2025. The Prosecutor General’s Office approved the extradition request.
