The Ministry of Internal Affairs has added another 22 people to the “List of Citizens of the Republic of Belarus, Foreign Nationals or Stateless Persons Involved in Extremist Activity.”
Of these, 20 individuals were convicted of “facilitating extremist activity.”
The list now contains 6,320 names.
Belarusian authorities regularly use extremism-related charges to combat political opponents and dissent more broadly.
