A 17-year-old girl was killed in a road accident in the Polatsk district.
At around 6:50 p.m., a BMW was travelling on the access road to Polatsk from the R20 highway. The 20-year-old driver lost control of the vehicle, crossed into the oncoming lane, and collided with a Volkswagen.
The 17-year-old BMW passenger died at the scene. The driver was hospitalized with injuries, the Vitsebsk Regional Executive Committee’s Department of Internal Affairs reported.
