The Ministry of Finance of Belarus has published data on the execution of local budgets in January-July. It should be noted that several years ago, the ministry stopped publishing monthly data on the execution of the national and consolidated budgets.
According to the Finance Ministry, local budget revenues totaled 32.1 billion rubles in January-July, 15.3% more than a year earlier. Own revenues increased by 14.8% to 24.5 billion rubles. The main source of local budget revenue was personal income tax, which amounted to 10.6 billion rubles.
Local budget expenditures totaled 30.4 billion rubles, 14.7% more than a year earlier. Of this amount, 8.2 billion rubles was allocated to education, 6.7 billion rubles to healthcare and 1.6 billion rubles to social policy.
Local budgets were executed with a surplus of 1.7 billion rubles in January-July.
