Territorial police units of the Vitsyebsk garrison held exercises on dispersing protests. The training took place at the Losvido training ground.
“As part of the groups, law enforcement officers practiced tactics for suppressing serious violations of public order and mass unrest”, the Vitsyebsk Regional Executive Committee’s Department of Internal Affairs reports.
It should be recalled that in April, exercises on actions in “special conditions” were held in Vitsyebsk. Among other things, the security forces practiced suppressing mass unrest and detaining protest coordinators. Interior Minister Ivan Kubrakou remained dissatisfied with the training of Vitsyebsk police.
