Head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine Andrii Demchenko said that “certain activity” is being observed on Belarusian territory near the border with Ukraine.
“This includes, among other things, the creation of logistics routes, training grounds, and possibly further activity and cooperation with Russia,” Demchenko said on the Novyny.LIVE broadcast.
The head of the border service stressed that Russia does not currently maintain sufficient forces and units on Belarusian territory that could pose a threat to Ukraine.
“But at any moment, all the infrastructure that Belarus is creating can, of course, be used by Russia,” Demchenko said.
It should be recalled that on May 2, Volodymyr Zelenskyy reported unusual activity along sections of the Ukraine-Belarus border. On the evening of May 2, Ukrainian border guards recorded the entry of a balloon from Belarusian territory. It was used as a relay to strengthen the signal of Russian drones.
