Two more oil refineries in Russia were hit by drone strikes. The facilities are located in Tatarstan and the Saratov region.
Saratov region Governor Roman Busargin reported damage to civilian infrastructure and casualties. According to him, one person was killed.
Videos circulating online showed a fire in the area of the Saratov oil refinery. An oil depot in Borisoglebsk near a military airfield may also have been hit.
An air raid alert was also declared in Tatarstan. Smoke was seen near the local oil refinery in Nizhnekamsk.
As a result of an attack involving about 70 drones on the Rostov region, two tankers were damaged, there were casualties, and the crew of one of the vessels was evacuated, regional Governor Yury Slyusar said. Both tankers were bound for Rostov-on-Don.
Russia’s Defence Ministry said that 415 drones had been intercepted and destroyed today.
