Sviatlana Tsikhanouskaya congratulated Norwegians on their national holiday, Constitution Day, and thanked the country for supporting the Belarusian people.
“Today we honor a country that firmly stands for freedom and human dignity — values that unite Norwegians and Belarusians. Thank you for supporting the people of Belarus in our struggle for a free and democratic future,” the democratic forces leader wrote on X.
It should be recalled that Aliaksandr Lukashenka also sent a message on the occasion of Norway’s Constitution Day, addressing it to the Norwegian people.
“Minsk confirms its readiness for an open dialogue with Oslo in various areas of mutual interest for the benefit of our peoples,” Lukashenka’s press service stated.
