The Defence Ministry is holding a command-and-staff exercise from May 12 to 14 with military command bodies and technical support units. The exercise is being led by Deputy Defence Minister for Armaments, Chief of Armaments Major General Andrei Fiedzin.
The theme of the exercise is the command and control of technical support forces and assets during the preparation and conduct of a crisis response operation.
As explained by the Defence Ministry press service, the exercise focuses on issues related to restoring military and special equipment, ensuring the survivability of technical support forces and assets, as well as eliminating the consequences of strikes by enemy air attack systems.
