The Belynichy District Prosecutor’s Office has referred a criminal case against a local resident to court. He is accused of illegal possession of a weapon.
According to the prosecution, the 55-year-old man found a shooting pen and small-caliber ammunition in his deceased parents’ house in April this year. He did not surrender the weapon and continued to keep it.
An examination confirmed that the shooting pen had been homemade and was capable of firing small-caliber ammunition.
It was not specified how the pen came to be in the defendant’s parents’ house.
