Four Belarusian sugar factories reduced both revenue and profit in 2025.
According to annual reports from the four enterprises, their combined revenue last year fell by 1.3% to 1.57 billion roubles. At the same time, Zhabinka Sugar Plant and Slutsk Sugar Refinery reported a decline in revenue, while Haradzeya Sugar Plant and Skidziel Sugar Plant posted revenue growth.
The combined cost of production of the four enterprises increased by 3.1% to 1.24 billion roubles.
Net profit at the four factories decreased by 17% to 128.4 million roubles. Only the enterprise in Skidziel reported a doubling of net profit to 16.5 million roubles. The other three factories reported a decline in profit.
The weakest financial results last year were recorded by the enterprise in Zhabinka. Its revenue fell by 12.4% to 297.3 million roubles, while net profit dropped by 51.7% to 11.1 million roubles.
Following the results of last year, the four sugar factories paid 32.3 million roubles in dividends, 20% less than in 2024.
Three of the sugar enterprises are state-owned, while the state holds more than a 51% stake in the Slutsk Sugar Refinery.
