Squally winds were observed across Belarus on Sunday.
In Senitsa near Minsk, the wind uprooted trees. In Minsk’s Loshitsa district, gusts tore off part of a bus stop roof.
In Hrodna, a tree fell directly onto Victory Street. As it fell, the tree also struck and toppled a lighting mast, NewsGrodno reported.
Forecasters have warned of strong winds on April 7. An orange weather alert has been issued.
