Russia carried out a strike on a private house in Kramatorsk, Donetsk Region, killing three brothers. Their mother and grandmother were injured.
According to the Donetsk Regional Prosecutor’s Office, on 12 February 2026 at 21:15 Russian forces attacked Kramatorsk. A residential area was hit. As a result of a direct strike on a private house, two 19-year-old brothers and their eight-year-old brother were killed.
In addition, the victims’ 43-year-old mother and 65-year-old grandmother sustained injuries. The women were diagnosed with blast and craniocerebral injuries with concussion, bruises to the chest, spine and arm, as well as contusion.
The injured women received medical assistance. The type of weapon used is being established.
Under the procedural supervision of the Kramatorsk District Prosecutor’s Office, a pre-trial investigation has been launched into a war crime under Part 2 of Article 438 of the Criminal Code of Ukraine.
According to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, during the night of 13 February Russia attacked Ukraine with an Iskander-M ballistic missile and 154 strike drones. Air defence forces shot down or suppressed 111 targets, and impacts were recorded at 18 locations.
