“On April 7 (Tuesday), strong westerly and northwesterly winds with gusts of 15-20 metres per second will persist across the south-western half of the country and in Minsk,” the statement said.
An orange-level weather warning over strong winds is also in effect across the country today.
Tomorrow, weather conditions in Belarus will be influenced by atmospheric fronts and a cold, unstable air mass moving in from the Baltic Sea. Mostly cloudy weather is expected. Precipitation in the form of rain and sleet is forecast across most of the country, while thunderstorms are possible in the south during the day. Temperatures will range from 0C to +5C at night and from +3C to +9C during the day.
