The Representation for National Revival of the United Transitional Cabinet of Belarus has launched its official website. It contains information about the organization’s activities and projects within its area of responsibility, opportunities for Belarusians and foreign partners to participate in them, as well as materials about the Cabinet’s awards.
The website reflects the activities covered by the Representation’s mandate, which includes culture, education and science, historical memory, language policy and information policy. It also contains full information about the awards of the United Transitional Cabinet, which are part of the national recognition system, and allows users to submit nominations for individuals who have rendered services to Belarus, its society and culture.
Key documents — the Concept and Strategy for National Revival and Development, the Representation’s annual reports, as well as current documents such as the database of cultural organizations to which people can allocate a percentage of their tax — are now available in one place.
The website also provides information about the Representation for National Revival’s scholarship program.
“When we were developing the visual identity for the website, we drew on the colors of our brand book and the words ‘revival’ and ‘soft power’, with an emphasis specifically on strength, intensity and inevitability. We believed that in this case the reading of the forms should be less obvious and more open to interpretation, and that there should be less ambiguity in the visual processing of meanings. Thus, we are not naming a specific symbol or message, and in my opinion this is a good choice for a structure such as ours, which deals with creativity, identity formation and critical thinking”, commented the person responsible for culture at the Representation, Irena Katsialovich.
