Belarus will reorganize its Academy of Education under a resolution signed today by Prime Minister Aliaksandr Turchyn.
The Academy of Education will be merged with the Republican Institute of Vocational Education and the Republican Institute of Higher Education. The new institution will be named the National Academy of Education.
“The National Academy of Education will ensure continuity in the scientific and methodological support of all levels of education, from preschool to higher education, as well as adult, children’s and youth continuing education. It will also implement professional development and retraining programs for teaching staff,” the government’s press service said.
