NASA Publishes Photo of Far Side of the Moon

NASA has published for the first time since 1972 a photograph of the far side of the Moon taken by a human. The image was taken from aboard the Orion spacecraft, which is orbiting the Moon as part of the Artemis II mission.

The part of the Moon on the right side of the image can be seen from Earth, while the part on the left is the far side, which is not visible from Earth.
