The FIRMS wildfire monitoring service detected a fire on June 20 in the area of the Mazyr Line Production and Dispatch Station, located near the Mazyr Oil Refinery. The incident was highlighted by the Telegram channel Flagshtok.
According to recent satellite imagery, the fire occurred west of the oil pumping station, where forested land near the strategic facility was burning. No official information about the incident has been released.
According to the channel, thermal signatures detected within the refinery itself are linked to the normal operation of technological units that generate heat as part of routine processes.
