A Minsk resident took drugs and believed someone was chasing him. He attempted to hide in what he considered the safest place — a kindergarten.
At around midnight, a security guard at the kindergarten noticed an unknown man behaving strangely after entering the premises. The guard called the police.
Officers detained the 31-year-old man in a state of drug intoxication. While trying to enter the premises, he damaged kindergarten property worth about 200 roubles. The detainee was taken to hospital, the Minsk City Executive Committee’s Main Internal Affairs Directorate reported.
The man explained that it seemed to him that strangers were chasing him. He decided to hide in what he thought was the safest place — a kindergarten.
An administrative report was drawn up against him for appearing in a public place in a state of drug intoxication, and a criminal case was opened on hooliganism charges. The suspect will have to compensate for the damage caused.
