On July 27, Belarusian First Deputy Foreign Minister Siarhei Lukashevich met with Manouchehr Moradi, special assistant to Iran’s foreign minister and director general of the Foreign Ministry’s Eurasia Department.
The two sides discussed current issues of Belarusian-Iranian cooperation, as well as selected aspects of the international and regional agenda, the Belarusian Foreign Ministry reported.
The parties reaffirmed the friendly nature of relations between Minsk and Tehran, noted the positive momentum in bilateral cooperation, and highlighted the steady development of ties in the political, trade, economic, investment, humanitarian, and other areas.
The meeting underscored the commitment of Belarus and Iran to further deepening practical cooperation, expanding contacts at various levels, and implementing previously reached agreements.
