Belarus is holding a tactical-special exercise involving military commandant’s units. The exercise is led by Colonel Dzmitry Zhukouski, head of the Military Service Department.
According to the Defense Ministry’s press service, the exercise is focused on maintaining public order, ensuring road safety, conducting reconnaissance and countering enemy UAVs, as well as fighting sabotage groups. All activities are being carried out in conditions close to combat. Military personnel have even been deployed in trenches and dugouts.
“Military commandant’s offices marched in organized convoys to designated areas, arranged for personnel and equipment to be deployed in field conditions and organized security. At the same time, I would like to draw attention to the fact that, in accordance with the requirements of the Minister of Defense of the Republic of Belarus, personnel have been deployed not in tents but in trenches and dugouts,” Zhukouski said.
In his view, the commandant’s units demonstrated their readiness to carry out their tasks during the exercise.
