Information Ministry Adds To List Of “Extremist Materials”

The Ministry of Information has again added items to the list of “extremist materials.”

The following have been added:

• the Instagram accounts “chrysalismagazine” and “future_belarus” (Беларусь будучынi – Iдэi, якiя натхняюць),
• the “Polesye_Media” accounts on TikTok and Threads,
• the brochure “Anastasia Kuhta Love is…”;
• the logo (watermark) of the extremist formation “Anarchist Black Cross Belarus,” depicting a black cross with a fist at the top and a piece of barbed wire inside a black circle, the abbreviation “АЧК” and the inscription “АНАРХІЧНЫ ЧОРНЫ КРЫЖ БЕЛАРУСЬ,” with the addition of the inscription “abc-belarus.org”.

It should be recalled that in Belarus, extremism charges are used to prosecute opponents of Lukashenka and to crack down on dissent more broadly.
