Residential buildings will be constructed on the site of Bus Depot No. 2 in Minsk. This was announced by Leninski District Administration Head Raman Melnik.
“The design phase and the process of obtaining positive conclusions from the state construction expert review are now being completed. Multi-storey residential buildings are planned.
The housing is intended for citizens registered with the district administration as being in need of improved housing conditions,” he was quoted as saying by Minsk-Novosti.
According to Melnik, the depot’s vehicles and employees have already been transferred to other Minsktrans facilities. Construction on the site is scheduled to begin in the fourth quarter.
Bus Depot No. 2 was located on Mayakouski Street.
