Since the beginning of the year, cases of violations of Belarus’s airspace have been recorded, Commander of the Air Force and Air Defense Andrei Lukyanovich said on February 20, BelTA reported.
Lukyanovich did not specify how many unmanned aerial vehicles had entered Belarus, but said that aircraft had been used to destroy them.
“Including with combat use: our on-duty forces used aircraft, we used anti-aircraft missile troops in order to destroy unmanned aerial vehicles,” Lukyanovich said.
According to “Flagstok,” 11 Russian drones entered Belarus between the start of the year and February 11.
