On June 20, the children’s academic choir Mara of the Belarusian School of Arts named after Michas Ravenski will perform a concert in Warsaw.
The concert will be conducted by Daria Dziatko. The program will feature sacred music by Belarusian composers, as well as the world premiere of “Little Mass” for children’s choir and organ by Belarusian composer Halina Kazimirouskaya.
“Little Mass” was written specifically for the Mara choir. Its first performance will be the central event of the evening. The organ part will be performed by Belarusian composer, organist and teacher Volha Padhaiskaya.

The Mara choir brings together Belarusian children living in Warsaw. Over several years of its existence, the ensemble has evolved from an educational project into a concert choir, becoming an important part of Belarusian cultural life outside the country.
In May 2026, the choir received first prize in the children’s choir category at the 45th International Festival of Sacred Music in Hajnówka, one of Europe’s most prestigious forums for choral sacred music.
The concert program will include works by Belarusian composers that the choir performed at the Hajnówka festival.
For the Mara choir, this concert is not only a creative event but also an important step in the development of Belarusian choral culture abroad. The voices of the young performers are becoming a living continuation of the musical tradition and a testament to the ability of culture to unite people regardless of borders and circumstances.
