Belarusian Ambassadors to Serbia and Kenya Receive Additional Duties

Alyaksandr Lukashenka made several appointments to the diplomatic corps today, assigning additional responsibilities to two ambassadors.

Belarus’s ambassador to Kenya, Dzmitry Krasouski, has also been authorised to represent the state in Ethiopia concurrently. In October, Krasouski was additionally authorised to serve as ambassador to Uganda. He is also Belarus’s permanent representative to the African Union, the UN Environment Programme (UNEP) and UN-Habitat.

Belarus’s ambassador to Serbia, Siarhei Malinouski, will also represent the country in Montenegro. He already serves concurrently as ambassador to North Macedonia.

Appointments of two consuls general were also approved. Alyaksandr Shauchenka will become consul general in Shanghai, and Dzianis Mialeshkin in Almaty.

Today Alyaksandr Lukashenka also replaced the leadership of the Minsk Tractor Works, the State Committee on Science and Technology, two universities, and six districts.
