Belarusbank is opening a representative office in Mumbai, India. According to the bank’s press service, all required approvals have been obtained from the Indian side and all procedural matters have been completed.
The decision to open the representative office was made “as part of comprehensive support for clients’ foreign economic operations and the establishment of sustainable settlement mechanisms.”
“The choice of India as a strategic base for working with the countries of the Global South is driven by the high level of bilateral relations and their significant development potential,” the Belarusbank press service said.
Belarusbank first announced its plans to open a representative office in India in September last year. At that time, the required set of documents had already been prepared and submitted.
