Belarusbank has reduced a number of tariffs for individuals and has also abolished fees for certain procedures when taking out loans.
For operations with current accounts, collection and exchange of worn banknotes:
- the fee for crediting funds to current (settlement) accounts of individuals (including those accessed via debit cards) and for cash withdrawals without opening an account in Belarusian rubles has been reduced to up to 1.5% of the amount, with a maximum of five base units. Previously, the fee was 2% of the amount, with a maximum of 700 rubles;
- the fee for issuing, at the request of an individual, a certificate on the availability of accounts or the balance of funds on them has been reduced to 22.5 rubles. Previously, it was 25 rubles;
- the fee for providing a mini-statement of the last ten transactions made with a card or using its details over the past seven days at ATMs, information kiosks and in Internet banking has been abolished. Previously, the fee was 1 ruble;
- minimum fee levels for cash collection and for the exchange of worn but still legal-tender foreign currency have been abolished.
The bank also reported that it will no longer charge fees for:
- drawing up a guarantee agreement and additional agreements to such a guarantee agreement;
- drawing up a pledge agreement for consumer loans;
- transferring a loan debt to another individual;
- amending a loan agreement at the initiative of the borrower;
- issuing, at the request of an individual, certificates on the outstanding loan balance; on the conclusion (or non-conclusion) of a preferential loan agreement; on the receipt (or non-receipt) of a preferential loan for gasification; and certificates for guarantors for the purpose of fulfilling their obligations under a loan agreement;
- reviewing documents related to guarantees or sureties of legal entities accepted as security for the repayment of consumer loans.
